Olivia “Liv” Roumel is an evocative and soulful singer, songwriter, guitarist and keys player. Hailing from Ann Arbor Michigan, but based in Denver since 2016, her music blends soulful vocals with jazz-inspired textures and nature-infused imagery. Her songs are both intimate and expansive, rooted in raw storytelling and transformative musical expression.

In addition to her work as a performing and recording artist, Liv has been teaching private voice and guitar lessons since 2018. Her teaching style mirrors her artistry: focused on unlocking each student’s authentic voice and cultivating music as a means of emotional connection and creative empowerment.

I Take a Picture (With My Whole Being), released in April 2025 - is the debut EP from Olivia Roumel. A dreamy, soul-rich collection exploring self-undoing, transformation, and celebration of life. Written through the lens of solitude and brought to life by Denver collaborators, each song channels a different facet of Olivia’s inner world, from the tender to the powerful. The title, born on a solo hike, reflects the desire to fully feel and savor life’s beauty—not just through a lens, but with the entire being.
